Travel Smarter, Not Harder
Visa Requirement’s: Most nationals need a visa to visit Egypt, which costs around $25 USD. You can either apply for an e-visa online or get a visa on arrival. If you choose the visa on arrival, make sure to have the correct cash ready. I opted for the visa on arrival, and it was a smooth process. Having your driver meet you before security can make it even easier.

Safety: Egypt felt very safe, local’s are generally warm and welcoming. I personally had no issues during my visit. However, like anywhere, be cautions of pickpockets, your surroundings and avoid going out alone at night.
What to wear: As a Muslim country, modest clothing is recommended. You are wonting to keep your shoulder and knees covered to show respect for local customs. Lightweight, breathable clothes are perfect for the heat and scarf can be handy for extra coverage.
